had put to me recently, the Sony KDL-32BX300 and am (almost ) pleasantly surprised:

+ USB port for: Video (DivX), music, photos and to update the firmware
+ energy consumption of only 94 watts in the diamond-and 0.19 watts in standby mode (power thanks to the light sensor controlled)
+ good speakers (not finished sheet sound like Samsung)
+ Support for 1080p (panel designed for 720p but 1080p signals are readily accepted)
+ 4 HDMI inputs with 24p technology
+ DVB-T and DVB-C (with HDTV decoder)
+ simple remote control with new Sony design
+ unbeatable price

- attracts piano lacquer dust on and can easily scratch
- DVB-T slightly out of focus (remedy by disabling "MPEG NR" - which smooths the image from too much - just click on "Off")
